How Affiliate Marketing Works

1. The advertiser signs up to TrafficSynergy Affiliate Network through a short online form.

2. The advertiser sends TrafficSynergy banners to upload to the TrafficSynergy affiliate network system.

3. The advertiser decides on what to pay for each impression, click, lead, or sale TrafficSynergy brings to the advertiser.

4. The advertiser places a small piece of code on the thank you / confirmation page of their website. This serves as the trigger to TrafficSynergy that a sale has been made by a TrafficSynergy affiliate.

5. Affiliate partners who are part of the TrafficSynergy affiliate network will see the advertiser’s program and subscribe to the program.

6. The affiliate partners will place the advertiser’s banners on their websites. Traffic will flow to the advertiser’s site.

7. When a measurable action, be it an impression, click, lead, or sale happens on the advertiser’s website, TrafficSynergy (after receiving the trigger that was set in step 4) checks to see if an affiliate partner brought the advertiser the action.

8. If the affiliate partner is responsible for the action, the advertiser account will be deducted at the predefined amount (from step 3) and the affiliate partner is credited with that amount.

9. At the end of the month, TrafficSynergy takes care of paying the affiliate partners.
